Pareto, Parkinson and Business

We’ve all heard about Pareto’s Law, otherwise known as the 80-20 rule. It states that as a percentage of time and effort that only 20% of your time will be effective, 20% of people earn 80% of all income, 20% of people will grow in your enterprise, 20% of customers account for 80% of sales volume, 20% of advertising yields 80% of the campaign’s results. So it only goes to say that you should be spending as much time with these 20%ers. There’s one hitch though. You never know who those 20% are going to be. Enthusiasm

What was the name of the character in 1986 film “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” played by Ben Stein? Regardless, you remember the monotone presentation he had and how it literally bored the students to death. On the flip side of the coin do you remember a teacher that took a subject or topic and got…

American Milk Is Not All That’s It Cracked Up To Be

American Nostalgia How much more American can you be than mom’s homemade chocolate cookies and a big glass of good ole milk? Maybe we can include apple pie and Chevrolet but I digress.
